- Compact wine hike
- Introduction with winemaker insights for the Open Wine Cellar Day in Kallstadt
- Tasting of 3 estate wines
- Bread
Short vineyard hike in the renowned Saumagen wine region. Join me on a journey of discovery through Kallstadt’s most famous wine growing area. We’ll head out into nature and into the Saumagen, located just 150 meters from our meeting point.
With enthusiasm and passion, I’ll share accessible knowledge bites about viticulture, the winemaker’s year, and what we can currently observe in the development of the vines.
Anticipate the wines awaiting you after the hike: we’ll taste a typical regional Riesling from the Kallstadter Saumagen. Excitement builds with a PIWI Cabernet Blanc that showcases how easy and enjoyable sustainable steps in winemaking can be. Lastly, we’ll feature a Tempranillo, a grape variety that has now found a home beyond Spain.
By the end of the tour, you’ll have expanded your wine knowledge, had fun, likely taken some great photos, and enjoyed a delightful wine tasting.
Does this sound like an experience you’d enjoy? Then get in touch with me to reserve a spot for yourself and perhaps your favorite people too.
Enjoy wine in a relaxed atmosphere and join me for a timeout in our vineyards
I’m looking forward to seeing you!

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome, provided they do not disrupt the event and are friendly to people and other dogs. Dogs must be
kept on a leash at all times.
What happens in "bad" weather?
The event takes place in any weather. Please bring appropriate clothing (sun hat, raincoat, umbrella, jacket,
etc.). If you have a special program planned afterwards, you might also want to bring spare clothes. In case of
heavy rain, I offer you and the group the option to separate the hike from the wine tasting and conduct the
tasting in the winery's barn. However, it’s important to me that we still go outside, even if just a little, to
experience the vibrant nature.
