- Palatinate Spring Awakening: Almond and Wine Walk
- 🍾 Welcome sparkling wine
- 🍷 5 estate wines
- 🌸 3 almond delicacies (salty, sweet, …)
Upcoming dates
Ready to leave winter behind and welcome spring with all your senses? Then come along!
I welcome you at the winery with a glass of sparkling wine. You’ll discover fascinating stories about almonds, their origins, and why they’ve been at home in the Palatinate for centuries – culturally, biologically, and even religiously.
Then we head out into nature: Take a deep breath – fresh air, almond fragrance, spring.
We stroll between blooming almond and fruit trees through the famous Kallstadter Saumagen wine-growing area. Along the way, we’ll taste five estate wines – sometimes right where the vines grow. Perhaps you’ll try a Cabernet Blanc, a Cabertin, or a Palatinate Tempranillo for the first time.
Accompanying the wines are three fine almond delicacies: sometimes salty, sometimes sweet – perfectly paired with matching wines. Imagine enjoying crunchy salted almonds with a Riesling while your gaze sweeps across the Rhine plain.
Follow my invitation to slow down, taste spring, and create cherished Palatinate memories with your favorite people that will make you bloom.
Enjoy wine in a relaxed atmosphere and dive into the sea of vines together!
I’m looking forward to seeing you!

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome, provided they do not disrupt the event and are friendly to people and other dogs. Dogs must be
kept on a leash at all times.
What happens in "bad" weather?
The event takes place in any weather. Please bring appropriate clothing (sun hat, raincoat, umbrella, jacket,
etc.). If you have a special program planned afterwards, you might also want to bring spare clothes. In case of
heavy rain, I offer you and the group the option to separate the hike from the wine tasting and conduct the
tasting in the winery's barn. However, it’s important to me that we still go outside, even if just a little, to
experience the vibrant nature.
