  • Enjoy springtime!
  • Welcome sparkling wine
  • Tasting of 5 estate wines
  • 3 almond snacks (salty, sweet, …), bread

I welcome you with a glass of sparkling wine at the winery. There, we’ll have our first nugget of knowledge about the history and origin of almonds. Then, we’ll stroll past blooming almond and fruit trees through the Kallstadter Saumagen - a well known wine-growing area. Along the way, we’ll taste 5 estate wines, sometimes right where they were grown.

Have you heard of Cabernet blanc, Cabertin, or a Tempranillo originated in Palatinate? Have you ever smelled an almond blossom, experienced the scent of spring, or paired roasted salted almonds with a Saumagen Riesling? Do you know the cultural, biological, and religious significance of almonds and why they have been at home in the Palatinate for so long?

And would you like to experience genuine Palatine moments with wine, knowledge, and nature in a relaxed atmosphere? Then it’s time to join an entertaining almond and wine hike and have a great time.

Enjoy wine in a relaxed atmosphere and join me for a timeout in our vineyards

I’m looking forward to seeing you!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome, provided they do not disrupt the event and are friendly to people and other dogs. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.

What happens in "bad" weather?
The event takes place in any weather. Please bring appropriate clothing (sun hat, raincoat, umbrella, jacket, etc.). If you have a special program planned afterwards, you might also want to bring spare clothes. In case of heavy rain, I offer you and the group the option to separate the hike from the wine tasting and conduct the tasting in the winery's barn. However, it’s important to me that we still go outside, even if just a little, to experience the vibrant nature.
