Classic vineyard hike in the well known Saumagen wine region. Join me on a journey of discovery through Kallstadt’s most famous wine growing area during the grape harvest season. We’ll start at the winery with a glass of sparkling wine. Then, together with the group, we’ll head out into nature and into the Saumagen, located just 150 meters from our meeting point.

During the hike, we’ll taste 4 wines, which originate directly in the Saumagen. When was the last time you had the chance to enjoy a wine at the place where it was grown? I’ll share my passion with you, offering interesting insights about viticulture, the winemaker’s year, and what’s essential during the harvest season. Feel free to ask questions and make the tour even more dynamic and valuable for you.

Excited about the wines?

You can look forward to tasting a typical regional Riesling, a PIWI Cabernet Blanc that showcases sustainable practices in winemaking, and the Spanish grape variety Tempranillo, which has also found a home here.

Enjoy the autumnal colors of the leaves and the aromas of the grape harvest – depending on the season’s progress, you might catch the scent of freshly pressed juice or fermentation.

By the end of the tour, you’ll have expanded your wine knowledge, had fun, likely taken some great photos, and enjoyed a memorable wine tasting.

Enjoy wine in a relaxed atmosphere and join me for a timeout in our vineyards

I’m looking forward to seeing you!

Does that sound like something you’d enjoy? Then get in touch with me to reserve a spot for yourself and perhaps your favorite people too.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome, provided they do not disrupt the event and are friendly to people and other dogs. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.

What happens in "bad" weather?
The event takes place in any weather. Please bring appropriate clothing (sun hat, raincoat, umbrella, jacket, etc.). If you have a special program planned afterwards, you might also want to bring spare clothes. In case of heavy rain, I offer you and the group the option to separate the hike from the wine tasting and conduct the tasting in the winery's barn. However, it’s important to me that we still go outside, even if just a little, to experience the vibrant nature.
